I had the oppurtunity to work with mobile dog app company BarkHappy in late 2013. I was hired by the company CEO, Ninis Samuel to shoot commercial/advertising photo’s. This was a fun but challenging job at the same time. I had never personally worked with shooting dogs before, so going into this I had no clue how things would turn out. I arrived on set the first day with my assistant, and was able to meet Ninis, and a friend of his Cheryl Scott. It was cool to find out that Cheryl works for NBC Chicago as a weekend meteorologist. Immediately after I then met the stars of the show, the two dogs, Kerby and Lola! They were very happy and active dogs, which made things fun, and a bit of a challenge. But we managed to get through. We shot over two day period in the heart of Chicago, and were able to capture a lot of good material that would be suitable for the app. Be sure to check out the app on the Apple App Store under the name "Barkhappy"!
